Job Profile

This (Senior) RF Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and test of antennas
The Senior RF Engineer will report to the RF Manager. The location for this position is in Shanghai.

Main tasks
-In close dialog with the customer analyse needs and demands, and work out specifications.
-Design and development of antennas and components accordingly to specifications.
-Develop new antenna concepts.
-Work out diagrams and circuits documents, and fulfil and certify test.
-Run the project, follow up, coach colleagues and suppliers, and ensure time schedule is followed.
-Report status to the customer.
-Work with manufacturing plants in China assisting in the transfer of projects from the design and prototyping stage to the mass production stage.
-Look up information on new technologies and systems that the company and/or the customer will implement.


Candidate profile

Education: Master or Bachelor of Science - Electromagnetic specialised in hardware development.
Experience:Min 2 years (Senior level 3-5 years) experience of antenna design - preferably for mobile devices
                Antenna measurement experience.

Antenna simulation software.

Customer interaction experience.

Prototype design and build.

Microsoft Office.

Used to travel 10-15 days per year.


Personality: A self-driven and well-organized person with a high initiative and the ability to work independently.

Has power of penetration because of a positive and straightforward behaviour, strong professional skills and team spirit.

Analytical and open minded.

Has maturity, drive and the commitment to fulfil the tasks.

Has a good understanding for the mobile business.

A person with a good general view and the ability to go into details when needed.

Motivated by responsibility, meaningful and substantial tasks and community in work.

Language: English on negotiation level and in writing
