OVERVIEW
We are seeking talented professionals motivated to join a newly created R&D Center located in Shanghai. As part of a start-up team you will develop real time telecommunications products. You will contribute to the success of its’ challenge, by providing your expertise in global solutions design, development and test.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a skilled hardware architect person. He/She will be leading, from a technical point of view, the definition of wired and wireless handsets physical architecture working in close relations with experts in the different involved domains, such as audio, acoustic, electronic design, mechanical and associated firmware. These developments will be conducted in close relations with other developments teams (ID design, hardware, manufacturing, purchasing,..) located in China and outside China.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited t
- Terminal prestudies in relation with architecture team and other HW competencies
- Definition of the subsystem hardware architecture and write the external specifications
- Introduce HW technologies evolutions
- Ensure technology watch and competition analysis at terminal level
- Ensure specific terminal components, assembly technology watch (Display, PCB, miniaturization,)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mandatory
     o English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking
     o Strong experience in general hardware development methodologies, especially electronic design, audio and radio.
     o Good knowledge in product industrialization
     o Good mechanical knowledge
     o Good knowledge in standards and approvals
     o Good knowledge of components selection (including technology) and management and in particular display technologies
     o Project scope will be needed good knowledge of:
           · Audio/acoustic constraints
           · Wired/wireless transmission
           · IP technology
           · Display
- Nice to have
     o General knowledge in Enterprise market
     o Project management experience
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years experience in hardware development, including all steps such as prestudies, development and certification, this in handset industry.  Experience in working with external suppliers is a plus.
