CAD Engineer
We seeks an individual for development and application of the latest EDA (Electronic Design Automation) and Mechanical CAD tools used to create new hardware systems.  You will work with product development teams to provide application support for essential ASIC, FPGA, Schematic Capture, PCB Layout and Mechanical tools.   You will join a team of employees that have repeatedly proven itself in the industry. The Application Engineer provides comprehensive telephone/web/e-mail/chat technical and application support to internal engineering team. The candidate must be able to work directly with customers in high-pressure situations; have strong analytic, organizational, time management, and communication skills; thrive in a team environment; and possess the willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve the highest customer satisfaction. The candidate will interact with development and application team to investigate and resolve issues. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to analyze, track and resolve customer issues in a professional, timely manner; identify alternate application approaches when necessary and communicate them to customers. Develop, implement CAD tools based support initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field
3-5 years customer support experience for CAD system
Knowledge of of any CAD tools like Allegro, EPD ProE, UGS NX/I-Deas etc..
Knowledge of Linux, UNIX and Windows operation system
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding interpersonal and telephone skills are a must
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to function and thrive in a team environment with an appreciation of aggressive goals
Energetic, with a strong desire to succeed
