Preface(英文资料)
Low Level Measurements is intended as a practical guide to making precision
measurements of low level DC signals. It is useful both as a reference handbook and as an aid to understanding low level phenomena observed in the lab. Keithley’s Applications Engineering staff, who led the effort that created this Fifth Edition, is available to talk about the material in the book or other measurement challenges.
The book provides a comprehensive overview of the theoretical and practical considerations involved in measuring low currents, high resistances, low voltages, and low resistances.
High impedance measurements are the most complex and least understood measurement type. This book describes many common sources of errors and ways to minimize them in order to make successful high impedance measurements.
Low voltage and low resistance signals pose their own set of measurement challenges. The book discusses these considerations in depth, as well as practical measurement methods and applications. It also discusses design characteristics of the growing variety of low level measurement instruments, including electrometers, picoammeters, nanovoltmeters, micro-ohmmeters, SourceMeters, and Source-
Measure Units. |
