China is rapidly catching up with the world in semiconductor manufacturing, IC design and digital communications. To enable China to do this, you will be selling state-of-the-art R&D solutions for the design and verification of RF-mixed signal ICs and Microwave modules to the semiconductor, wireless and defense-aerospace industries.
You actively update yourself with China''s electronic industry trends to identify sales opportunities. You enjoy knowing customers and their needs so you can recommend Agilent EEsof EDA design solutions to solve challenging time-critical R&D tasks for quick time-to-market. You help develop sales strategies, determine and develop creative approaches to non-standard sales situation to achieve sales quota.
Leads projects requiring coordination with other functions, organizations across Asia Pacific and USA.
Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.  
Qualifications :  Bachelors or Master Degree or University degree equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years relevant sales/pre-sales experience in the semiconductor, wireless or defense industries, with typically 5-8 practical experience.
Knowledge of EEsof, Ansoft, Cadence, AWR or other EDA tools is a definite advantage.

Description :  Agilent EEsof ADS (Advanced Design System) is the premier EDA (electronic design automation) simulation tool for the design of RF-mixed signal circuits and systems. It is used by Agilent (previously HP) for designing state-of-the-art precision test instuments. As an EEsof Application Engineer, you''ll enjoy helping R&D design engineers perform sophisticated design simulations of high-frequency circuits and systems involving Analog, RF, DSP and Measured-data elements. These are used for wireless, defense-aerospace and hi-speed digital applications.
The Shanghai & Southern China area also opens up opportunities for working closely with new semiconductor foundries and design-houses for the adoption of Agilent EEsof's device modeling & high capacity RFIC & RF simulation technologies.
