Folded J Antenna, it is a monopole antenna, with 2 arms, one for GSM and one for DCS PCS, these 2 arms are holded into J shape, the feed is a vertical rod from PCB.[br]+5 RD币

How is the metal housing of the V3 considered on the antenna performance?I am considering to design PIFA or Microstrip IFA type antenna for 900Mhz and 2.4Ghz(BT), any suggestions?Thanks

it is relatively easier to design PIFA for GSM/DCS PCS if you are given enough height limit, IFA might not give you enough BW. FJA is placed around 8cm away from PCB, two arms are folded into J shapre, just imagine 2 J shaped monopole combined together and feeded with one single feedrod. FJA actually looks like PIFA but it is not placed ontop of groundplane, instead away from gp.[br]+5 RD币
