Application engineering is one of the most important working scope in ATM.
Application Engineer will take responsibility to support XScale Application Processor customer's applications.

Software/BSP Application Engineer  (5)--shanghai

Qualifications :

Minimum BSEE/MSEE with 3+ years experience in application engineering or software engineering in embedded area. Shall have experience in Windows Mobile, Windows CE or Linux BSP software development for Xscale or ARM processor. Knowledge in hardware is a plus as well as multimedia and application software.

Job Description :

Application engineer for supporting customer application on BSP/Driver level. The candidate must have Minimum BSEE/MSEE with 3+ years experience in application engineering or software engineering in embedded area. Shall have experience in Windows Mobile, Windows CE or Linux BSP software development for Xscale or ARM processor. Knowledge in hardware is a plus as well as multimedia and application software.

In this position, the candidate will be working on customer support mostly on BSP/driver layer for XScale application processors. The responsibility will include but not limited to
- Support customer applications in a timely manner by phone/email/online and possibily onsite.
- Customer board driver debug support
- Provide workarround or isolate problem then esclate to developer team
- Get customer feedback on product feature include hardware and software
- support domestic and regional customers

Additional qualifications include:
- Problem analysis and solving skill
- Experience in ARM-Linux* drivers developing or Windows Mobile, Windows CE BSP development
- Knowledge of XScale or other ARM* architecture processors
- Strong ASM*, C, C++ programming skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good Chinese and English reading/writing/speaking
- willing to travel when demanded
- Knowledge of embedded systems
- Knowledge of embedded operating system (OS) architecture
- Knowledge in hardware and/or application software would be an added advantage
