BeiJing, Telco Channel/Account SE/Sr. SE:
Major Job Duties:
Typically assigned to cover a number of small- to medium-sized accounts/partners
Provides technical account support to Sales especially support the major solution partners
Gives first line technical presentations on BEA products
Fills out the technical portions of RFIs/RFPs
Works with technical team in order to develop technical sales strategy
Leads high-level technical discussions and technically qualify the opportunity
Maps high-level business problems to BEA technology solutions with assistance
Gives, explains, and discusses standard BEA demos with technical audiences
Customizes standard demos by changing the look-and-feel
Provides technical workshops that include product overviews, introductions, and feature/functions, and Partner development support based on BEA’s products.
Supplements technical needs using Implementation SEs
Engages resources when appropriate in the sales cycle and acts as a PM role, including PS, BS, CS, and Implementation SEs to drive pre-sales cases.

Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
5+ years industry experience
Technical Skills:
Familiar with both MS Windows and at least one Unix-style operating system
Ability to write, compile, and debug programs in Java
Solid understanding of J2EE
Solid understanding of XML and web services
Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
Ability to understand and create UML and Entity-Relationship diagrams is highly desirable
C/C++ is a plus
Portal experience is a plus
Integration experience is a plus
Leadership Traits:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good presentation skills
Is a team player
Adapts to change
Delivers assignments on time or early
Sets, prioritizes, and achieves goals
Effectively manages their time
Attention to Detail, and Creativity
Eagerness to be in a learning environment
Customer focused
Must show tact and diplomacy when dealing with customer’s sensitive issues
Self-starter and faster learner
Willing and eager to learn new technologies
Project management skills are highly desirable
