We need Mechanical Engineers to participate in forming a great design team for the future at Sony Ericsson.

Development Unit China, Mechanics is a young and growing department, with very close relationship with other mechanical departments in Europe, America and Asia.
We are developing in-house phone projects and are also involved in supporting other development units, with activities at factories and suppliers, in China and Asia.
As we are growing, this department offers several attractive positions such as design engineer, test and verification engineer, project leader and specialist role.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. 2-5 years experience in mechanical development, where production and quality also is relevant.
3. Good communication skills (speaking and writing English)
4. CAD skills, where Unigraphic is a plus

Design, implement and verify Printed Wired Boards (PWB)s

Requirements:

Master Degree or above of science

At least 2 years experience from PWB design preferably of Mobile Phones.

International experience, studies abroad or working in an international company.

Fluent in English.

Experience user of Computer based design tools such as Mentor Graphics

PWB Design and layout

Knowledge of Baseband and RF technologies

Knowledge of design for EMC.

Develop and verify RF solutions from concept to production in mobiles.
The engineer should also be able to do work within antenna areas.

Develop and verify optics solutions from concept to production in mobiles. Optics includes LCD, camera, flash and IR solutions.
The engineer should also be able to do work within other Baseband areas.

3 years experience from optics and baseband design preferably of Mobile Phones.

Analogue and digital electronics.
Power Management and battery technologies
Memory, CPU and DSP technologies
Design for EMC.
