Job Title: Sr. RF Engineer

Responsibilities:
A vacancy has arisen within the Applications Engineering Group to support our RFL product strategy. The RFL Group, based in Limerick, designs and markets a broad range of PLL synthesizers (integer-N and fractional-N) as well as ISM-Band transmitters and transceivers.
Key responsibilities for the successful candidate include:

Developing a thorough understanding of assigned products (PLL's, synthesizers etc.) , understanding system level issues and providing innovative, practical and timely solutions to customers. It also requires the design, development and debug of application circuits and ideas and understanding competitive products.

The development of evaluation tools (both hardware and software), web-based tools, application notes, demonstrations and reference designs. It also involves maintaining a high standard of datasheet preparation to allow customers to easily use these products in their designs.

Based on understanding customers’ requirements and systems, the Applications Engineer is required to develop new product ideas and provide customer feedback into new product definitions. The Applications Engineer actively participates in the new product definition process and works closely with the Marketing and Design communities to define successful new products.

Requirements:

Minimum three years experience in analog and RF circuitry. Some design experience preferred.
Since the Applications Engineer represents the organisation when dealing with customers, the position requires an outgoing personality with a pleasant and professional manner. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in both english and chinese.
MSEE preferred.
