Application Engineer / Sr. Application Engineer (MMI) (3 in Shanghai)

Job Description:
- Design and develop Reference MMI software for low-end GSM/GPRS mobile
phone. The Reference MMI software provides full-functional graphic
man-machine-interface features including phonebook, voice call, GUI,
Supplementary Service, short message and other applications which run on
Infineon GSM/GPPS mobile phone platform and service as reference package
for Infineon customers
- Cooperate and co-work together with Infineon global customers for
GSM/GPRS mobile phone MMI software development and customization, based
on customer production specification and requirement
- Maintenance of Infineon MMI software releases, and to provide
technical support and training to Infineon customers

Job Requirements:
- At least bachelor or master degree in communication, EE or related areas
- Solid programming and debugging knowledge with C language in embedded
software development environment; Good experience and understanding on
software design, development, release and maintenance processes
- Good understanding on GSM mobile phone software architecture and
concepts, with solid knowledge base on MMI related GSM Specifications
- Work-experience on at least one of below MMI software areas: MMI
architecture, call-handling, SMS and/or EMS, GUI, Multi-language,
SIM-Toolkit, GSM supplementary services, embedded applications like
calendar, games, alarm etc.
- Knowledge and experience on GSM protocol stage and drivers is
preferred
- +3 years work experience on mobile communication software development,
or related areas
- Good communication skills (understanding people, asking through)
- Strong English language skills, both written and oral
- Willing to travel independently, both domestic and overseas
