Ambiqmicro 推出目前全球最低功耗带RTC功能的电源管理IC (AM18xx)，可以极大降低MCU功耗并大大延长电池寿命，降低方案设计成本，提高产品竞争力，尤其对于占空比较低的应用，极具竞争优势。如：有源RFID，智能卡片，电子锁，保险柜，汽车钥匙，胎压检测设备 等自带电池的应用。

AM18xx产品具有下面特点：

典型工作电流21nA
•Industry’s lowest power RTC
– 55 nA with XTAL
– 21 nA with Autocalibrated RC
– 15 nA with RC（最低工作电流）

• Flexible timers, counters, and
interrupts for RTC backup

内置RAM可在电池掉电时保存MCU的状态字，或存在种子数据及对IC进行配置
• Integrated RAM up to 256B

带有电源管理功能
• Power management functions
– Integrated power switch
– System sleep manager
– Automatic battery switchover
– Analog voltage comparator
– Reset manager
– Trickle charger

AM18xx和MCU的通讯可以通过常规的I2C或SPI进行连接。

多种唤醒MCU的方式，可组合使用：
Example 1 – Wake on button press
Example 2 – Wake at a particular time
Example 3 – Wake on a specified interval
Example 4 – Wake if the battery is low
Example 5 – Wake if an error occurs
Can combine any of the above
