【简　介】:Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems can be used either to increase the capacity of a wireless system by spatial multiplexing or to increase the diversity order by using spacetime coding. This concept of MIMO systems can be extended to frequency-selective channels as well by converting the frequency-selective channel into parallel and independent flat fading channels by the use of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). This approach of MIMO-OFDM [1] almost eliminates the equalization complexity problem and hence has a tremendous potential in future wireless systems.
