A. HW engineer
Location:        fluke Beijing office

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.        Design reliable and easily manufactured electronic circuitry in accordance with design criteria and performance objectives.  
2.        Conduct functional and environmental tests for new designs or modified existing designs to evaluate circuit performance.
3.        Responsible for cost effective design decisions.
4.        May prepare proposals, personnel and cost estimates, and work schedules to meet completion dates and technical specifications.
5.        Define optimum design criteria and operating characteristics of subassemblies and complete instruments.
6.        Prepare documentation such as schematic diagrams, test procedures, theory of operation, purchased part lists, instruction manuals and related information.
7.        Maintain current knowledge regarding new developments and trends in applicable engineering field.
8.        Finish other related duties on time as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
1.        Master or above degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
2.        At least 3 years design experience on analog circuit, mixed-signal circuit, MCU system, and the relevant firmware.
3.        Proficiency in Cadence or Protel
4.        Fluent communication both in Chinese and English.
5.        Excellent team work spirit.

Desired:
1.        Embedded software knowledge.
2.        Familiarity in Small signal (V) processing/ amplification.
3.        Equipment design experience under lean manufacturing environment.

B.  Analog Electrical Engineer
Location:        fluke Shanghai office
Education:
BS Electrical/Electronic Engineering, MS EE desired

Experience:
Minimum 3 years electrical/electronic engineering.  Graduates can be considered.

Tools:
        Conversational English (3 years written and spoken)
        Report writing
        Electrical test equipment
        SPICE software

Experience of interest:
        Analog electrical engineering
        Test and measurement product engineering
        Emissions and regulatory analysis and design
        Analog circuits stability analysis
        Electrical test engineering
        Electronics technician experience
        Component engineering
         Low noise, PPM precision, Op amps, filters, ADC/DAC, amplifiers, loop analysis

Responsibilities and Attributes:
        Specify, design, simulate, analyze, test, and manufacturing support for analog circuits
        Design for test, manufacturing, and low cost of goods techniques

C. Firmware engineer
Location:        Hach Shanghai office
Major Job Responsibilities:
        Provide software development and support in real-time embedded systems on incoming products
        Develop, Implement, test, and debug embedded software in eCos/LINUX environment on incoming products
        Perform triage and determine root cause of embedded software defects by modifying source files
        Provide enhancements to the original implementation on current products.
        Deliver quality embedded software solutions to incoming product in a timely manner
        Responsible for the preparation of software documentation, test procedures, instruction manuals and related information
        Maintain current knowledge regarding new developments and trends in software engineering and related fields
        Perform other related design assignments as required

Qualifications
Experience includes
        Demonstrated programming experience in C
        Demonstrated experience working on Linux/Unix based real-time embedded system
        Demonstrated experience in using structured SW development methodologies
        Understanding of defect tracking systems and version control tools
        Develop, implement, test and debug embedded software in Linux/eCos environment or other platform
        Demonstrated experience in the architecture and design of complex embedded software system
        Large SOC application experience is preferred


Education and others include
        At least B.S. Degree in Computer Science/electronic or similar Engineering fields
        5+ years of experience in electronic product software and hardware or other relevant design engineering
        Proficient problem solving and logic thinking
        Quick in learning and understanding new products and technologies

D. Mechanical Engineer
Location:        Hach Shanghai office

Responsibility:
•        Designs, modifies, develops, and implements electromechanical designs and assembly fixturing for production.
•        Participates in the testing process through test plan development, review, execution, and/or analysis of tests based on established specifications
•        Demonstrates a comprehensive, intensive, practical knowledge of a technical field and skill in applying this knowledge to the development of new methods, approaches, or procedures.
•        Provides technical leadership for global development efforts.
•        Actively tracks developments in the engineering technical community and incorporates them where appropriate.
•        The employee and supervisor, in consultation, develop the deadlines, projects, and work to be done. The employee generally determines the approach to be taken and the methodology to be used. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications. Completed work is generally reviewed only from an overall standpoint in terms of feasibility, compatibility with other work, or effectiveness in meeting requirements or expected results through appropriately scheduled and executed design reviews.
•        Guidelines for performing the work are scarce or of limited use. The employee uses initiative and resourcefulness in deviating from traditional methods or researching trends and patterns to develop new methods, criteria, or proposed new policies.
•        The work includes varied duties requiring many different and unrelated processes and methods such as those relating to well-established aspects of a scientific or engineering field. The work involves establishing criteria; formulating projects; assessing program effectiveness; or investigating or analyzing variety of unusual conditions, problems, or questions. The work product or service affects a wide range of establishment activities, major activities of industrial concerns, or the operation of other organizations.
•        Provides knowledge in the core scientific or engineering discipline to the project or business area of focus. Provides information on strategic planning and technology evaluation as needed.

Requirement:
•        BS with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of directly relevant experience or a MS with 5 years of directly relevant experience in a product development environment
•        Detailed knowledge of ISO quality systems (specifically Design Controls/Product
•        Realization) and related requirements.
•        Detailed understanding of product development and manufacturing methodologies to
achieve high quality design (design for six sigma).
•        Strong background in design and modeling.
•        Excellent knowledge of tools required by project.
•        Demonstrated skill in the areas required to perform this job:
