Senior Audio Test Engineer – Shenzhen, China
Job Details
This individual will locate in Shenzhen, China to work with an international team to evaluate the most advanced voice processing solutions in telecommunications. The major responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Utilize sophisticated testing equipment and advanced testing tools to evaluate mobile phone voice quality and voice features.
• Perform thorough analysis on test results and provide comprehensive test reports.
• Provided prompt support to customers.
Experience, Skills and Education Required
• 5+ years experience in mobile device performance evaluation.
• Extensive knowledge in audio signal processing and communication networks.
• Solid programming skills in Matlab and C.
• Strong capability in system level trouble shooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Highly detail oriented and well organized.
• Good team player with strong initiative.
• B.S. or. M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience, Skill and Education Desired
• Extensive experience in speech vocoders and cell phones.
• Familiar with ETSI Chamber, HATS, Network Simulator, ACQUA and Pulse.
• M.S. in Acoustics Engineering, Telecommunications or Digital Signal Processing
