Wireless Connectivity Baseband & System Senior Engineer[/COLOR]

Wireless Connectivity Baseband & System Senior Engineer will support the Wireless Connectivity project manager to do the baseband and sub system work in wireless Connectivity area (FM, BT, WLAN , NFC, GPS, Mobile TV, etc.), be accountable for the HW system design for the new wireless connectivity solution or new configurations based on existing solution integration in host chipset projects used by phone product families. Baseband and system Design engineer will deliver the HW design including data & control interface, power supply, current consumption, reference clock, etc. with the collaboration with the RF engineer and SW engineer.
Your main Responsibility Area as Baseband and System Senior Engineer will comprise:
- Architecture study of wireless connectivity solution and make sure the integration to host chipset works properly
- Define and align the system level and baseband requirement for new chipset with platform supplier in wireless connectivity area.
- Integrating, qualifying and troubleshooting of a wireless connectivity platform, e.g. Bluetooth, WLAN, FM, etc., from baseband & system point of view to make sure it can meet NOKIA requirement.
- Be responsible for lead and support for the copy phone program wireless connectivity platform integration, to secure the performance meet firm internal requirement.
- Support the wireless project manager with own deliverables.
- Owns the technical interface to supplier in own area.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- At least 2 years’ experience in wireless connectivity area, e.g. BT, WLAN, etc., familiar with the HW components used by industry.
-Understand the essential of build blocks of the host chipset and wireless connectivity solution, and how do they interact with each other. E.g. Understanding of HW connectivity buses - I2S, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.
- At least 3 years’ experience in hands-on experience in troubleshooting- skillfully used the equipment to make measure and ability to take and read SW traces.
- Know the protocol and stack of the varies wireless connectivity technology
- Experience in interfacing with component suppliers

p.s. Knowledge on SW Architecture would be a plus.
