JOB TITLE:
Position Summary: HW Lead Design Engineer

% of time on task        Responsibilities
1.        10%        Help drive HW team (FPGA, HW, PCB, RF) developing LitePoint products
2.        70%        Develop, implement, and verify new products and technologies
3.        10%        Develop system, module, and board level specifications
4.        10%        Help drive product into manufacturing (Develop manufacturing test specifications)

Requirements:
Skills and knowledge that are necessary for the performance of the job, i.e. Degree & area of study, computer skills, technical knowledge, required abilities, areas and number of years of related experience, etc.  (Please put in order of importance.)

1.BSEE or MSEE, 10+ years experience
2.Broad HW development knowledge (FPGA, Digital design, PCB, RF desired)
3.Successfully completed several designs that have gone into production
4.Help build up world class HW development team in Shanghai LitePoint office
5.Experience with high speed circuit design and implementation using programmable logic such as FPGA’s
6.Proven design experience implementing at least some of the following technologies, such as Gbit LAN, USB, PCIe, high speed ADC’s and DAC’s, DDR memory etc.
7.5+ years of board level experience
8.Proven ability to execute your own schematics and layouts (PADS experience a plus)
9.Understanding of telecommunication theory
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of personnel and cultures, and development team in US
