　　　　The Vantage 8670 development kit enables the rapid
development of an IPTV set-top box, media player, etc.
that can also support ATSC or DVB-T tuners.
Based on our SMP8670 Secure Media Processor™,
the Vantage 8670 supports an HDMI output, two USB
2.0 OTG ports, two Ethernet ports, and one smartcard
interface.
Additional features such as DLNA, Z-Wave® RF remote
control, and streaming of on-line movies, TV shows and
videos may also be easily incorporated. Additional home
networking features such as 802.11n, HomePNA, and
HomePlug® AV may also be added. Adding Z-Wave®
capability also integrates support for Z-Wave® enabled
home automation, home security monitoring, and home
energy management products. This enables service
providers to offer additional premium services, such as
home security monitoring, for the home.
