Mechanical(机构) or Tooling( 模具) Quality Engineer (M&D department)
Tasks and Responsibilities:
l Implement tooling approval and release for plastic injection molds and sheet metal dies.
l Defect tracking: drive development team or supplier quality engineer root cause analysis and corrective action plan with PQA, Manufactory.
l Interface to Manufactory, PQA QM and Supplier concerning strategic quality items.
l Manufacturing test development and execution, coordinate Environmental and Reliability test, safety test, field test for mechanical components.
l Mechanical representation at the definition “Standard Test for mechanical parts.
l Mechanical Design-Interface to the service analyses team and competitor benchmark analyses.
l Moderation and monitoring of quality reviews (e.g. FMEAs) within the mechanical processes and assembly.
l Internal audit of the fulfillment of the defined mechanical design and Manufactory processes.
l Training and Support PQA in quality related items to detect continuously quality improvements potentials.
Education:
Bachelor degree or above, in Mechanical Engineering or Tooling Engineering.
Experience/Skills:
l 3 years+ experience of Mechanical Design or Tooling Design (for plastic component), mobile phone background is preferred.
l Experience all aspects of a tooling shop and have a thorough understanding of the operation of all the machine tools and other tools used in the process of fabricating molds.
Mechanical Program Leader (M&D department)
Tasks and Responsibilities:
l High volume projects from concept development, requirements gathering, mechanical design development, manufacturing.
l Interface to Manufactory, PQA QM and Supplier concerning mechanical components base on mechanical design department of R&D.
l Realization and maintenance of process flows, guidelines and tools for standardization procedures to ensure more transparencies and to avoid redundancies.
l Support to at Project planning and monitoring.
l Introduction and maintenance planning of Mechanical production and Assembly to detect continuously process improvements potentials.
l Definition, realization and maintenance of an operative working platform for the Mechanical Design, Manufactory and HW regarding process flows, guidelines and tools.
l Coordinating and managing Prototype Production and Ramp Up with cross-divisional / cross-functional teams, guarantee safe product release for mechanical parts and final assembly.
l Risk Management Plan for mechanical development, implement, and monitor overall project.
l Moderation and monitoring of quality reviews (e.g. FMEAs) within the mechanical processes and product assembly.
l Manufacturing line capable or building volume product, coordinate internal and external training for new products.
l Guarantee that supplier has correct manning availability and capability.
Education:
Bachelor degree or above, in Mechanical Engineering or Tooling Engineering.
Experience/Skills:
l 3 years+ experience of project management expertise including full scope schedule/resource planning and management, mechanical design for mobile phone background is preferred
l Experience managing multiple projects in parallel.
l Demonstrated high volume projects of high performance orientation, detail orientation, market knowledge and sound judgment.
l Experience Mechanical controls implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement required.
l Experience leading diverse cross-function teams of 5-20+ people in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
l Strong relationship projects management and negotiating skills and ability to handle technical aspects of mechanical design and production.
l Familiar with problem solving skills and ability to work independently.
l Strong verbal and written communication (in both Chinese and English), organization, and interpersonal skills.
l Strong "customer focused" implementation skills. |
