职位描述：         Company Mobile Platform is continuing expanding and strengthening its application engineering team and efforts in China to directly interact with and support its leading customers with the baseband/RF and power management platform solutions, at this critical time when the platforms are ready to be productized for global market. We are looking for key talents who have not only proven technical skill sets in handset SW design and development, but also interest and experience in direct customer interaction and problem resolutions. Being part of the team working with the customer on the daily basis, you will be responsible for helping platform customizations and productization, product quality improvement, new feature integration, and customer support including the following, with the goal of helping the customers get into mass production on time with the good quality products, as well as maximize the volume shipment into the market:
• Deliver company’s platform SW release and solutions to the customer and provide support to the customer.
• Support design change review and customer’s error reporting and fixing review with the customer.
• Support board bring-up and debugging with customer’s design.
• Provide production support at customer’s facilities.
• Document and communicate the design change, customization or bug fixes following internal and customer’s process.
• Provide first-level support to platform customization and integration, and initial triage of field and production reported issues.
In this role, you will work closely with the platform teams including chipset API, device driver, and platform SW across the oceans as well as other teams across a variety of disciplines and technologies such as BB/RF, ASIC, PMU, QA, and program management within the company.
职位要求：         • BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required. MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred.
• Must have experience in SW design and development for cellular handsets for volume production, and specialized in one or more of the following layers: MMI, L2/L3 signaling/stack, device drivers, and/or API and firmware development. Must be familiar with embedded SW development tool environment for different phases of the design. Understand the SW development process.
• 6 or more years of hands-on experience in handset SW design and development. Experience in C/C++. Must have embedded Linux or Android handset development experience.
• Must be familiar with at least one bug report and tracking tool for issue resolution. Familiar with tracing and debugging tool for embedded environment.
• Must have experience in developing specifications, application notes and test plans/reports for the product design or customization. • Understanding of wireless standards (GSM, GPRS, EGPRS/EDGE and/and WCDMA) is highly desired.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work closely with functional groups throughout the company.
• Application/firmware development and system design experience such as audio, RF/PA, BT, GPS, wireless LAN, multimedia, protocol stacks, and power management is a plus.
