The Position
DSP Field Application Engineer (FAE) for China
Responsibilities
The FAE will have the following Key responsibilities:
•Support existing customers at a “post sale” stage, helping them in the software development on ’s DSP. This will require delivering training and hands-on consultation to customers, and liaise with R&D.
•Supporting “pre-sales” customers and helping them to understand the functionality and benefits of’s DSP products. This will require presenting the technical merits of’s DSPs, identifying customer’s needs and matching the right technology/solution. In addition, the successful candidate with coordinate internally for technical pre-sales activities and technical evaluations, provide demonstrations and deliver technical training.
•Build and develop relationships with existing/potential customer’s technical teams.
Key objectives:
•Be capable of understanding complex code written by a team of highly specialized engineers in a small amount of time.
•Explaining difficult concepts to customers.
•Teaching customers on how to use products programmatically.
•Diagnosing and debugging intricate and complex problems that customers are experiencing.
•Learning new products quickly and transferring the information onto others.
•Analyzing and articulating problems that cannot be solved using traditional trouble shooting information. In this instance, the application engineer will isolate the issue, identify the problem and interact directly with the engineer responsible to find a solution.
Education:
•BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (BSEE, MSEE) or related fields
