Working Experience                
BS degree required (Comp Sci, EE or related subject)
MS preferred (again Comp Sci/EE)
3 to 5 years experience using C/C++ developing software in embedded environments
Embedded software development experience, knowledge of RTOS’s etc.
Prefer knowledge of real-time O.S. concepts (multi-threading, synchronization, device drivers etc.)
Prefer experience architecting embedded software for one or more products
Experience with USB drivers and ARM processor architectures a plus
Must have good English language written and oral skills
Special Training or Skill required
Strong oral and written communication skills
Firm understanding of the C programming language
Ability to program in one or more assembly languages
Experience developing device drivers on platforms with memory-mapped I/O
Understanding of asynchronous programming techniques (IRQ handling, callbacks, event passing)
Understanding of software abstraction principles and techniques
Understanding of program build and launch processes (compiling, linking, locating, run-time loading, memory initialization)
Job Description & Main responsibilities (Outline)
The primary responsibility of this position is to develop software for general-purpose microcontrollers. Experience in embedded software development is required. Experience should be in low-level coding such as creating device drivers. Candidate must have a strong understanding of event-driven software architecture
