What is BLT?

请问BLT是那几个字母的缩写，是怎么样的一个概念？
网上搜到的最接近的是这个
BLT Build-Lease-Transfer (project/financing arrangement)   Build-Lease-Transfer(项目/融资安排)


搞不清gdi中很多BLT的操作，如：
gdi_layer_set_blt_layer（）

Blt base layer to LCD
get the blt layer
Blt to LCD

Windows比MediaTek先出来，Windows上编程(Win32, VC++/MFC)上有个BitBlt函数，bit-block transfer

请看MS的MSDN上的专业解释：The BitBlt function performs a bit-block transfer of the color data corresponding to a rectangle of pixels from the specified source device context into a destination device context.

估计当初MMI设计时，这个接口命名参照了MS的做法。

题外话：MediaTek的东西是“阿三”印度公司Sasken communication Technologies Limited的淘汰产品，后转手卖给二道贩子加拿大的Pixtel公司，二道贩子卖给现在的三道贩子MediaTek！！！！

现在做大M机（MediaTek）的被人家换手三次了，做小M机的(M-star)的被人家换手二次了(Wavecom -> M-star)，再到我们大陆同行手中，嘿嘿，不知被蹂躏多少次了。现在有的公司，听说两个机（双M）同时做，就是不知道时间应付得过来嘛？一天就24小时，加加班，一天上12个小时就撑死了。

有些地方倒是讲的通，
有些地方就莫名其妙了：
gdi_layer_set_blt_layer()
gdi_layer_get_blt_layer_ext（）
blt layer，好像又成了名词，MTK的命名也真够乱的……
