Program Basics
This tutorial  describes the basics of using  HPAdvanced Design
System environment. This environment includes all the tools you nee
to manage your projects, create and edit schematics, and simulate you
designs easily and efficiently.
The Design Environment
The design environment is made up of windows. All operations take
place within the framework of windows.
Main window. Contains a title bar with the name of the window
(Advanced Design System), a menu bar, and a toolbar for quick acces
to common operations. In addition it provides a tree-like view of
directories, and where applicable, the designs comprising a
hierarchical design.
From the Main window you can:
• Create and manage projects and designs
• Change the type of components loaded on start-up
• Launch the text editor
• Open a data display window
