R&D Electrical Engineer (base in Singapore)
Job Description:
1. Support the development of Flat Panel Display products and solutions for the global market
2. Design and develop systems for existing and new TV technology
3. Design and develop electrical circuits to meet industry compliance and standards
4. Test and confirm circuit down to component level
5. Troubleshoot prototype assembled designs
6. Produce and maintain documented specifications for hardware and software designs
7. Develop firmware algorithms for TV processor
8. Support R&D division in the continual process and procedure development
9. Design Audio & Video function by Setting-up Video Chip control registers.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor in Electronics Engineering
2. At least 3 years experience in design and development with TV-related products
3. Good understanding of video and DTV related technologies
4. Video and scalar processing experience is an advantage
5. Fluency in English and Mandarin essential, with Japanese and or Korean an advantage
6. Able to maintain own task schedules
7. Self-motivated team player; Frequent traveling may be expected
R&D Software Engineer (base in Singapore)
Job Description:
1. Design and develop IDTV software for the global market
2. Design, develop and test software according to customer’s requirements
3. Analyze, debug and troubleshoot customers’ enquiries
4. Produce and maintain documented specifications for software design and customer porting guide
5. Support R&D division in the continual process and procedure development
6. Create new core software platforms
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or higher
2. At least 3 years experience in design and development of embedded software system
3. Knowledge in RTOS
4. Knowledge in Analogue TV domain / Digital TV domain
5. Fluency in C language and assembly knowledge is essential
6. Good Knowledge in OO design is an advantage.
7. Good knowledge in Linux system is an advantage
8. Fluency in English and Mandarin essential, with Japanese and / or Korean an advantage
9. Able to maintain own task schedules
10. Self-motivated team player; Frequent traveling may be expected
