1.5 years of FPGA development experience;
2.Familiar with Xilinx ISE and Altera Quantus II development tools;
3.Familiar with Xilinx Virtex-4/5 or Altera Stratix II/III high end FPGA;
4.Feel comfortable with Verilog HDL and VHDL;
5.Experiences with high speed IO design, for example PCI express and DDR memory controller;
6.Strong digital logic system development ability;
7.Image processing experience is a plus;
8.English/Chinese communication skill

Position Title:Technical Support Engineer
Division:Service
Location:Beijing, China
Status:Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing first and second level technical support and troubleshooting to Polycom's customer base and channel partners. Work with internal Polycom groups to provide product problem relief to the customers in the form of both short-term and long-term solutions. This position is responsible for being a subject matter expert to others within the organization in support of key projects.  Occasional travel to customer sites and overtime work may be required.

PRIMARY TASKS
•Provide telephone and onsite support to Polycom's customer base and partners in assigned region;
•Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction is maintained in Polycom's support services and products;
•Investigate and analyze various field issues, endpoint log files and network trace files;
•Replication of suspicious problem scenarios for the purpose of defect verification;
•Corresponding with Escalation support team in HQ;
•Manage multiple assigned cases while providing continuous communication with the customer, sales staff and management;
•Work with customers and other Polycom teams to ensure successful system installations, and other field engineering activities;
•Network support and troubleshooting of various customer network implementations;
•Create technical documentation for internal and external publication;
•Technical resource for assisting other departments within Polycom as needed;
•SELECTION CRITERIA/KEY COMPETENCIES

•Bachelor's degree in related fields or equivalent with 8 to 10 years customer/client support experience;
•Solid knowledge of WAN and LAN networks and have the ability to troubleshoot to the board level;
•Background in troubleshooting data communications and telecommunication networks a must;
•A working knowledge of routers, switches, as well as a knowledge of Windows OS server platforms;
•Experience in Windows 2000 or Windows NT Server installation and 3rd party software installation;
•Knowledge of TCP/IP, including ability to configure devices to be use over Ethernet for TCP/IP connections;
•Experience in either Audio or Video Bridge technology and H.323/SIP protocol is a plus;
•Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer facing skills;
•Demonstrated customer service orientation through a proven ability to work well with other people;
•Experience in interfacing with different levels within a customers organization to describe current state and resolution action plans;
•Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn, and is adaptable to fast paced, ever-changing environment;
•Must be fluent in both written and spoken English with ability to understand and respond to complex technical enquiries in English;
薪水：12个月薪水+ 5%（年薪）=25w/y 以上可谈
