Role description
        The GPMs primary focus is on the project coordination, structuring, profitability and customer contract requirement fulfillment.
        The GPM is fully in charge of the program and is accountable for each project in its entirety.

He supports the GAM in his P&L responsibility and is responsible for one or more projects on a global basis that are interrelated from the perspective of customer, technology and or product platform and provides guidance, direction and support to the project managers assigned to these projects.
        The Global Program Manager will also ensure through governance that there is strong collaboration between the different functional areas involved in the project(s) ensuring effective planning and execution of project activities

Operational responsibilities
        Takes over the program from the GAM, when sell-in activities have materialized into a contractual agreement and project is formally initiated.
        Accountable for the project in its entirety and responsible for the program until End Of Life.
        Lead the project by supervising/monitoring the project and analyze results and take actions to secure that the agreed project goals will be fulfilled.
        Provide responsibility towards the business process of the project
        Follow the project’s economical and financial issues as set out in the project and within FlexMobile.
        Act as Management Representative at Customer negotiations, steering group meetings.
        Ensure the Time-to-Market (TTM) by following the Flextronics Product Life Cycle (FPLC) and use applicable processes.
        Approve the Project Management Plan / Project Specification and if applicable the Quality Specification.
        Structure the project in applicable project documentation such as the Project Specification, Quality Specification, etc. and update the documentation in the applicable project database.
        Negotiate resources and set up contract with the resource owners.
        Schedule and lead Gate review meetings in the project.
        Review and approve FPLC Gate and Functional Checkpoint passage decisions as applicable.
        Agree upon and follow the security policy within the project.
        Secure material and equipment according to project specification.
        Considered global project legal aspects in regards to resources, business, contracts, etc.
        Assure and achieve a high Customer Satisfaction Rate
Development responsibilities

        Suggest good project documents to applicable person to save in database as example of good project documents.
        Continuously report and suggest improvements to guidelines, methods and processes.
        Support work in regards to the business process of the project within the frame/scope of the project.
        Investigate additional sales opportunities within the project, new opportunities and cross-selling.
