WCDMA中经常出现3.84Mchip/s 和5Mhz的信道带宽,不知道他们是不是一回事?它们之间有什么联系?

3.84Mchip/s  是码片速率，不是传输速率，它们是不一样的。5MHZ是频率带宽，就仿佛是高速公路是4车道还是8车道一样，理论是带宽越大，携带的信息量越大（香农说的），但是由于频率带宽是有限的资源，所以分配了5mhz，我只解释了这么多了，还要牵涉其他很多的东西，我一时半会说不好，你可以自己查查一些资料，或者看看通信原理应该就明白了。

5 MHZ BW was chosen because of historical reason.  The chip ratewas 4.6 (~) Mbps, plus spacinf between channels, it requires 5 MHZ BW.

Then in order to compliance with CDMA 2000, slots reduced from 16 to 15per frame, the chip rate also readuced by factor of  15/16, today's 3.84 Mbps.

However the BW remains no change 5 MHZ.
