RTL8326(MAC) + RTL8208（8口百兆PHY）+ 2口千兆PHY。采用的是MAC（媒介控制芯片）与PHY（物理层芯片）相分离的架构。
RTL8326是MAC（媒介控制芯片），RTL8208是8口的PHY（物理层芯片）。RTL8326 集成2.5M 位SSRAM缓存用于数据包存储转发;这个缓存的大小对于交换机处理数据的能力有着很大的影响！RTL8326 MAC地址表的深度为8K; 整个产品的交换能力为8.8Gbps。芯片的制程采用0.18um工艺。
The RTL8326 is a layer 2 switch controller that integrates 24 Ethernet/Fast Ethernet MACs (Media Access Controllers), two Gigabit Ethernet MACs, a high-speed 2.5Mb SSRAM packet buffer, an 8K-entry MAC address look-up table with a 64-entry CAM, and a switch engine into a single chip. Featuring support for flow control, broadcast storm filtering, IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol) snooping, QoS (Quality of Service), Trunking, VLAN, bandwidth control, remote control, and a 0.18µm manufacturing process, the RTL8326 provides a highly cost-effective solution for designs of both dumb and smart 24+2G switches.
