This application note discusses and provides a mass storage device (MSD) function driver that can be integrated with almost any application running on Microchip 32bit PIC MCU products with USB peripheral support. It describes the design and implementation of a USB MSD function driver using a Secure Digital card, which is useful to developers of USB mass storage solutions.
This application may be used as a stand-alone MSD or as a Secure Digital/Multimedia Card reader/writer interface. The MSD function driver uses the Microchip PIC32 USB device stack.
