八、Technical Support Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing first and second level technical support and troubleshooting to  customer base and channel partners. Work with internal groups to provide product problem relief to the customers in the form of both short-term and long-term solutions. This position is responsible for being a subject matter expert to others within the organization in support of key projects.  Occasional travel to customer sites and overtime work may be required.

PRIMARY TASKS
·        Provide telephone and onsite support to customer base and partners in assigned region;
·        Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction is maintained in support services and products;
·        Investigate and analyze various field issues, endpoint log files and network trace files;
·        Replication of suspicious problem scenarios for the purpose of defect verification;

Selection Criteria/Key competencies

·      Bachelor's degree in related fields or equivalent with 8 to 15 years customer/client support experience;
·      Solid knowledge of WAN and LAN networks and have the ability to troubleshoot to the board level;
·      Background in troubleshooting data communications and telecommunication networks a must;
·      A working knowledge of routers, switches, as well as a knowledge of Windows OS server platforms;
·      Experience in Windows 2000 or Windows NT Server installation and 3rd party software installation;
·      Knowledge of TCP/IP, including ability to configure devices to be use over Ethernet for TCP/IP connections;

九、Mechanical Design Engineer
Responsibilities
This individual will focus on mechanical design/architecture design/thermal design for video conferencing equipment. Good communication skill and innovative thinking is part of the work environment.
Job responsibility:
- Works with HW design teams to define the PCB size and connector positions.
- Choose Power Supply according to the maximum power needed.
- Chassis and front/rear panel design of video conferencing terminals and MCUs
- 3D component accurate modeling and 3D product picture exhibition
- Interior architecture design, including layout of different function modules
- Thermal design. Based on the power dissipation and thermal characteristics of each component and air flow speed, choose the right cooling fans and heat sinks to control junction temperature below the highest operating temperature.
- Mould design directing, manufacture introducing and sustaining.
-Create documentation for work progress, create and release BOM and ME drawing
- Provide mechanical support for manufacturing
Requirements
Required skills:
- 机械工程/流体力学, or equivalent, and 3 plus years related experience
- Have experience in product development in area of plastic and sheet metal design
- Have experience in releasing designs using proper procedures through Engineering notifications
- Have knowledge of machining, casting, injection molding, finishing and plating
- Can do reliability test, thermal test and participate in safety test
-Knowledge on thermal design aspects (junction temperature ,thermal resistance, ambient temperature, etc)
- Have knowledge of relevant global regulatory safety and environmental requirements

十、Software Engineer – Customer Centric Engineering
RESPONSIBILITIES:
BEA Systems has a tradition of providing our customers with the best support possible. Our Tuxedo group has several openings for CCE Engineer. As a CCE Engineer, you will work in the Product Development organization and act as liaison between that group and our Developer Relations group. Specific duties include:  
Resolve customer escalations, investigate work around or provide patches for fixes in a timely and quality manner
Develop enhancements or new features on top of existing or new developing product releases, provide requirements, design documents, review test specifications for QA team
Reproduce and diagnose problems, and investigate causes
Develop solution to fix defect, carry out testing and ensure its effectiveness in customer’s environment
Clearly document the defect, the cause of the problem, and solution
If needed, work directly with the customer to solve urgent problem
Work closely with the development group to integrate fixes to the next release and participate in design and code implementation
Help the QA team to include important fix tests to regression testing suite
You will specialize in one or two technical areas and develop expertise therein.
REQUIREMENTS:

Education:     B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or above

Qualifications:
·         2+  years of software development experience in C/C++
·         Java experience a plus
·         Experience with Tuxedo, Jolt, WebLogic Server, enterprise client/server programming is desirable
·         Strong debugging and development skills on UNIX and NT
