1.Software management
Job Responsibility:
The candidate will be responsible for PC/host side device driver and
sample application software development. The job responsibility
includes team building, setting technical direction, mentoring,
maintaining the technical policy as well as delivering the all software
with high quality in timely fashion. The job also involves the job and
resource assignment and schedule tracking. This position needs to
provide the technology leadership to develop outstanding device driver,
testing code and applications.

Job Qualification:
? BS, MS in EE and CS with 8+ year experience required.
? Strong technical ability is required. Very high technical
competence, track record of strong coding and individual technical
accomplishments.
? Experience leading engineering organizations and delivering
robust products.
? Experience in device driver development in Windows and Linux
OS.
? Solid leadership skills, experience building strong engineering

2.MAC层通信协议软件工程师(WiMAX)

工作职责/任务描述
该职位主要负责新一代无线移动宽带系统WiMAX终端芯片的MAC层软件创新性研发
。
阅读并理解通信标准MAC层的相关部分;完成MAC层部分模块的软件设计,开发和调
试.

职位要求：
1.  通信/电子工程/计算机专业   本科4年(硕士2年)以上工作经验；
2   熟悉无线通信系统和通信协议;
3.  熟悉嵌入式系统软件研发，精通C编程;熟悉ARM系统上的嵌入式开发者优先;
4.  有一种或多种无线通信空口协议研发经验(如CDMA,WCDMA,802.11,WiMAX等)
5.  熟悉嵌入式软件开发流程,能独立完成模块的设计,实现以及测试.
6.  较好的中英文口头及书面沟通能力

Windows device driver Engineer                                          
      

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities:
?Develop Microsoft Windows device drivers for PC based personal video
recorder systems
?Responsible for the systems software design, development, debug and
testing of various video platforms
?Support components include broadcast and digital television audio and
video decoder systems and MPEG encoders working on Windows XP/MCE/Vista
and Windows Media Center
?Participate in design and code reviews
?Work closely with other departments to define new features and
continue to improve existing software
Job Requirements:
?BSCS/BSEE/BSCE (or equivalent)
?Must have solid experience in C programming and debugging skills
?Must be at least conversant with C++
.Experts in WDM(Windows Driver Model)
?Basic knowledge on PCI& USB bus and DMA,Interrupt,experience in
writing Windows device drivers using Microsoft DDK is plus

Desired Skills:
?Experience with driver frameworks products is preferred
?A working knowledge of video and audio standards would be helpful
?Experience with MPEG technologies is plus

4.Video Software Engineer
Job Responsibility:
The candidate will be part of an advanced research team responsible for
innovative research and development of on-chip video processing,
graphic processing and application software. There are multiple levels
of position needs to be filled. The candidate will be considered for
various levels of responsibilities.
Job Qualification:
BS, MS in EE and CS with 3+ year experience required.
Embedded system software development experience is a must.
Mpeg, graphic or video application experience is a plus.
Low level networking experience is also desirable.
Fluent in programming C/C++
Experience in real-time embedded software implementation in ASIC/FPGA
is a major plus
Experience in ARM is need for low layer position.
Experience in Linux or WinCE is needed for application engineers

要求：
1. 电子类学士/电子工程硕士，电子和计算机科学专业，3年以上工作经验；
2. 精通嵌入式系统软件研发和C/C++编程；
4. 拥有ASIC/FPGA实时嵌入式软件开发经验；
5. 底层网络开发、MPEG、图像或视频应用经验优先；
6. 从事底层开发需掌握ARM，从事应用工程师职位需熟悉Linux 或 WinCE.
5.Position: Software Applications Engineer
Location: Shenzhen, China.
This position is responsible for software integration of Atheros' WLAN
products into customer designs and platforms.   This position must have
code development skill set and debugging skill down to register level.  
This position requires high technical competence and be able to provide
prompt and in-depth technical analyses and rectification.  Must be able
to map out the technical details of a system integration plan - from
project start through product launch; and be able to sustain the
products in mass production.  

Qualifications:
BSEE/CS required, MSEE/CS preferred with 5+ years of experience
developing software for WLAN products and/or related NETWORK solutions.
- WLAN and NETWORK experience required
- C/C++, Linux OS and other embedded OS knowledge and experience
required
- Windows NDIS driver experience a plus
- Other telecom and gateway experience e.g. xDSL, Cable, Network
Processor a plus
- Must be self motivated with good verbal and written communication
skills
- Ability to compose application notes and white papers for technical
distribution
- Good problem solving technique and be able to respond promptly to
customer needs.
- Good team player
- Willingness to travel
