Position: Electrical Engineer

Department: Research&Development Department

Responsibility:
The research group is presently investigating new state of the art electronics assemblies and cabling technologies. This work spans from concept to prototype to validate capability. The primary responsibility is to support the development of product prototypes.
The successful candidate will be effective at understanding the design details of particular digital and analog components and circuits. The candidate will be involved with circuit analysis and design (both analog and digital), circuit board assembly, schematic capture and layout, coordinating activities from multiple vendors and will interface directly with the development teams. In this position the candidate will be also be responsible for:
·         Circuit analysis of product implementations
·         Verification testing and trouble shooting product designs
·         Schematic capture of electronic circuits
·         PCB implementation (interfacing vendors and using layout tools)
·         Assembly of circuit boards
      

Skills, Training, Experience Required:
BSEE and 5 years of product development experience
Experience in digital and analog circuit design required
Component procurement experience required
Product design for manufacturing experience required
Product design for reliability experience
Trouble shooting electronic circuits required
Product manufacturing: assembly and testing knowledge required
Good inter-personal skills and can work well in a team environment required
