again. I am currently working with AMC to deal with the surface wave. Th

began with a tripole array over ground plane. Keeping the size of unit c

unchanged, I''d like to make the working point (phase to be 0) of AMC at

frequency. By replacing the simple tripole as a fractal one or a convolu
ted one, I got  

what I want, the working point went down obviously. But I can not find t
he rule of  

that. The relationship between element shape and surface wave seems so d
ifferent  

with that between shape and plane wave. Without the rule, design works w
ill be  

only based on trials. Could you tell something from your opinion? Moreov

PhD topic is about metamaterials, LHM/DNG should be indispensable. Could
