first of all, what specifications do RF engineers care about? NF, IIP2, IIP1, ACPR, P1dB, Gain and so on.
And what are the exact meaning of them? I suggest you pay more attention on the specifications for a cascaded system, like what is the NF for a RX front-end chain with an attenuator.
Second, what are the frequently used methods for measuring these specifications. For example, what are the 3 approaches to measuring the NF, compare their merits and drawbacks. I think you should be able to draw the block diagrams of measurement setups. Plz keep in mind that the cable loss deserves your attention.
Third, be familiar with the basic operation of basic equipments, such as VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Osciloscope, Signal Generator, Noise Analyzer and so on. If I were the interviewer, I would lead you to the Lab and ask you to establish some setup and do the measurements.
If you are unware of somethings mentioned above, refer to the Agilent's Website for helps. There are many valuable materials about RF measurement there.
Good Luck!!!
