Terminal Software MMI Developer(SWDM)
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Understand project external specification and then make the detailed software module design accordingly. The ability to read and write technical documents in English, such as design specifications, testing specifications, and so on.
2.Developing and unitary testing terminal MMI software modules with high quality. The MMI modules are user interface, user input and operation response, telephonic calls management, directory and settings, etc.
3.The ability to debug and fixing C Language software bugs under UNIX or Linux platform.
4.Know the software configuration management tool as Clearcase, and could develop under it.
5.Know the bug tracking tool as ClearDDTS/ClearQuest and fault report life cycle.
6.Ensuring required quality level and lead time for his development.
QUALIFICATIONS
1.Bachelor degree or above on telecom, computer, or related.
2.For senior MMI software engineer, at lease four to five years working experience on embedded software developing and testing in the area of mobile phone, telephone sets or other kinds of terminals and embedded products.
3.For junior MMI software engineer, at lease two years working experience.
4.Skills on software programming (C/C++) and debugging tools (GDB, DDD) on UNIX or Linux platform are mandatory.
5.Working experience on MMI design and developing are highly preferred.
6.Working experience on MIPS and VxWorks platform are highly preferred.
7.Knowledge on software configuration management tool as Clearcase and bug tracking tool as ClearDDTS/ClearQuest is preferred.
8.Knowledge on telecom or SIP or IPv6 or Bluetooth is preferred.
9.Good communication skills (English as working language).

1.Working in collaboration with Software architects to define Real time aspects of the project
2.Ensuring design, development and test of software into a global project
3.Documenting his feature development via external specifications
4.Documenting architecture and algorithm  implemented (Top level and Low Level Design)
5.Documenting internal interfaces
6.Documenting tests plan, developing test tools, and  running software tests
7.Applying methodology/Process with particular attention on Unitary tests and Integration tests

9.Ensuring support of specific code (existing or newly developed code)

QUALIFICATIONS
