Project Manager, Electromechanics
Position Description:
General Purpose
l Plans, manages and leads R&D electromechanical subproject work.
Main Responsibility Areas
l Applies proven experience in project leadership to successfully execute an R&D project as part of the product program, provides leadership for a product development team. Working to reach predefined milestones and program metrics. Defining project level metrics. Communicating inside the product program across functions and between the product program and the electromechanical stream.
Scope
l Individual contributor: Performs and/or coordinates day-to-day activities to meet departmental/Project objectives. Carries our root/cause analysis in more complex problems. Can develop and implement recommendations. Managerial/Supervisory: Direct supervisory responsibilities for stream engineers who are assigned to the program. Carries our variety of complex activities according to plan, within broader area of responsibility, analyses problems. Decision making typically according to established solutions.
Impact
l Impact is short-term and usually departmental/project in scope. Accountable for quality, accuracy and efficiency of own and/or team achievements. Actions and errors can have program, project, functional impact.
Requirement:
l Typically 6-9 years relevant experience. Key contributor, recognized specialist in HW or EM design and implementation.
l Basic technical understanding on antenna/audio/UI HW is required.
l Being familiar with operation is a plus.
l Accept responsibility for, and demonstrates support for, delegated decisions. Requires minimum supervision. Uses non standard approaches to resolving issues. Suggests improvements and seeks opportunities for innovation. Some collegial or consultant interaction.
HW Project Manager
Position Description:
We are serving for a HW project leader to be responsible of HW (BB, RF, PWB) design activities in mobile phone development projects. The main responsibilities are:
l Planning, specifying and scheduling the HW sub-project as a member of project management team.
l Driving and coordinating the detailed planning and design work within HW design reviews.
l Chairing HW design reviews
l Reporting design status and verification results to project management team.
Requirements:
l Experience in HW design in mobile communication products, preferably GSM.
l Project management experience.
l Skills in people management.
l Decision making skills.
l Fluent in English, both oral and written.
l Accountability, ability to meet the schedules.
l Be able to solve problems in an analytical way. |
