The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region founded the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Company Limited (ASTRI) in 2001 to capture the promises of technological advances for Hong Kong through world-class applied research, with a strategic plan to become Greater China's most customer-focused applied research institution by continuously producing a substantial volume of world-competitive intellectual properties, and transfer them cost-effectively to the burgeoning local technology industries of Hong Kong, Pearl River Delta and the rest of China, and in so doing, position Hong Kong as a vital driving force for technology in the region.
Duties:
  - Development of high performance, highly optimized real time embedded code and  device drivers for our next generation products;
  - Write device drivers and diagnostic program for different hardware;
  - Work closely with hardware engineers to define the interfaces;
  - Diagnose and troubleshoot device driver problems; and
  - Documentation of design and implementation throughout the lifecycle of the software development.
Requirements:
  - Bachelor degree or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent;
  - 2+ years experience in system firmware development;
  - Solid experience with embedded Linux kernels and device driver development, experience with vxWorks would be a big plus;
  - Well versed in C, assembly language, and familiar with current software engineering methodology;
  - Clear understanding of networking protocol;
  - Backgrounds on WiFi or WiMAX wireless technology and protocal a plus;
  - Knowledge with hardware programming interfaces and micro processor concept a plus; and
  - Good command of oral and written English.

Appointment will be on renewable contract terms and a competitive package will be offered to successful applicants. We work 5 days per week and remuneration package will reflect the applicants' qualifications, versatility and experience. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and life insurance assistance scheme, and contribution to MPF scheme.

是招员工，待遇是要看你的经历经验和学历等等，待遇从月薪十几K到几十K都有可能
