Software Engineer – Browser development

Job Description:
Software development of web browser products.
Duties include software architecture and design, implementation, documentation, testing, porting, troubleshooting, integration and support.
The candidate will work on a variety of real-time embedded operating systems (Linux, VxWorks, micro-Tron, …) and development environment platforms (Linux, Windows) and provide quality software solutions for well-known worldwide consumer electronics customers.

Requirements:
        Technical:
o        Experience in C programming for embedded system and software architecture (3 years).
o        Knowledgeable in Linux/Unix software development environment.
        Interest in digital interactive television and in building reliable embedded software solutions.
        Good verbal and written communications skills in English.
        Education: equivalent of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

Additional Skills Desired (optional):
        Technical:
o        Experience with some web browser application source code.
o        Experience in usage of HTML and/or BML in the interactive television industry.
o        Experience in working with Internet technologies (HTML, BML, SSL, JavaScript, ECMA Script).
o        Knowledgeable in Windows software development environment.
o        Experience in C++ programming & Java.
        Communications skills in Japanese.
        Education: equivalent of Master of Science in Computer Science
