Senior R&D Engineer of PHY Layer Algorithm (Location: Beijing)
Job Description:
Senior PHY Layer algorithm engineers are responsible for algorithm design, implementation and evaluation of DB wireless system. Specific responsibilities include:

n         Be responsible for algorithm design, implementation and evaluation of DB wireless system solution schemes
n         Algorithm research, performance evaluation, optimization and simplify for DB wireless  product engineering implementation
n         Directs and manages algorithm engineer for specific algorithm deliverables
n         Working with product team to contribute practical algorithm design to product


Job Skill/Experience Requirement:
General Requirement:
MS/PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, Radio Communications Technology or related area with 2+ years industrial R&D experience and 1+ years team leader experience in wireless research and development
Strong knowledge in wireless communication theory and technology innovation
Research and/or Development experience in at least two of the following technologies: 2G (GSM or IS95) or 3G(WCDMA or cdma2000) or WLAN (802.11x) or WiMAX (802.16d/e) or UWB or 3G LTE or DVB-T/H or 4G or MIMO
Familiar with wireless algorithm research, design and development
Experience in wireless prototype and/or system development related activities is preferred
Experience and skills in CDMA system development and implementation is preferred
Experience in leading project teams and working with partner teams
Highly motivated, well organized, and quick learning and problem-solving skills
Team player
Strong communication and presentation skill
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Special Requirement:
Strong knowledge in spread spectrum system
Rich programming skill with C/C++/matlab
Familiar with wireless simulation method and tools, e. g. CoCentric or SPW or Simulink
2G/3G/B3G/4G algorithm research experience is a plus
Familiar with algorithm DSP or VHDL implementation is another plus
