【简　介】:In 3GPP R4 phase, core network of WCDMA/TD-SCDMA system will still be divided into two parts: Circuit Domain and Packet Domain, in which circuit domain is based on the softswitch concept, in which the functions of MSC are achieved by two functional entities of MSC Server and MGW. MSC Server accomplishes call control and mobility management; while MGW provides the media stream processing function.
