【简 介】:A little known characteristic of abrupt digital phase modulation makes it possible to create a transmitted signal having no Bessel sideband products. The method enables the use of special ultra narrow bandpass filters, which have a bandpass less than 1/100 of the normally required Nyquist bandwidth. The C/N for a given BER compares favorably to that for BPSK modulation. The method is presently in use on a microwave link and with
experimental Cordless phones.
