BD (Business Development) Team Leader / Senior Director

Position Summary:

- Supervise and lead BD (Business Development) organization at Samsung Electro-Mechanics in Shenzhen or Shanghai, China
- Sense technical mega-trends in the market and establish preemptive design-in strategies
- Expand Business Opportunities into China major mobile customers by means of enhanced high-level R&D networking and technical deep-dive activities
- Create and incubate Business Opportunities in new application markets (IoT/Automotive, etc)

Responsibilities to be taken:

- Responsible for BD organization and its staffs in all SEMCO China offices as BD team leader
- Sense technical trends in China market and derive preemptive strategies from it and feedback to HQ, align product development roadmap with market trends and needs
- Establish and expand high-level R&D networking with key customers in China mobile market, catch and preoccupy new business opportunities, set up joint-development activities
- Create short-term BOs and incubate mid-/long-term BOs to secure revenue growth in both mobile market and new application markets (IoT/Automotive, etc)

Required Skills & Experience:

- Degree in Electronic specialty (MD or PhD preferred)
- Over 10 years of experience in R&D/Technical marketing of China major mobile-phone companies or major AP-platform companies or global electronic components companies
- Have strong engineering background and expertise on Mobile phones and electronic devices
- Have extensive personal networks in China major mobile-phone industry
- Excellent English skills, presentation skills, interpersonal skills
