System Test Engineer- Telecom (Beijing City)

RESPONSIBIITIES:

·                                 Candidate will be responsible for System testing of wireless Network Element in GSM/GPRS domain
·                                 Candidate  will be involved in the design, review and execution of the test scenarios as per the Test Specifications which will be used for the testing activity
·                                 Candidate will also be responsible for developing test scripts, setting up Test Beds and performing Regression and Feature Testing at System level
·                                 During the test execution, you would also diagnosing
faults in functionality, raising defects observed during testing and discussing the same with the development teams, and consolidating and reporting the testing results along with detailed impact analysis
·                                 You will follow strictly to the testing process
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
·                                 Should have 3 to 5 years of experience in System testing and integration of GSM/GPRS Network elements
·                                 Should have familiarity with GSM/GPRS Interfaces, Protocols architecture
·                                 Should have good understanding of 3GPP specifications specifically on Voice Broadcast services
·                                 Should have experience in using Protocol Analyzers and other test tools
·                                 Should have been involved in test planning and execution activities at System level
·                                 Good knowledge of scripting languages like Perl, XML etc.
·                                 User level awareness of any of the defect tracking tools
·                                 Basic Knowledge of Unix
·                                 Excellent communications skills and ability to work in a cross functional team environment
·                                 Fluent oral communication in English/Chinese
·                                 Exposure to software engineering methodologies
·                                 Masters/Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
