Primary responsibilities will include
Working directly withour customers to manage interactions and projects
Solving customerissues related to the use of those product deliverables
Training customers inthe use of product deliverables
Solve customer issues
Provide first levelanalysis of issues raised and answer directly where possible
Assign and trackissues with Customer Engineering and development teams where appropriate
Track issues toclosure
Drive development anddelivery of product training programs, at customer sites where required
Supporting productdelivery at customer sites as required
Tracking anddelivering customer commitments for deliverables and training
Required Skills
Minimumof 3 years working experience in a hardware digital design role
Abilityto communicate technical subjects in both written and oral form
Understandingof RTL synthesis and simulation tools and gate level debug
Experiencewith Simulation Tools – Cadence NCSIM, Synopsys VCS or similar
Experiencewith Synthesis Tools – Synopsys Design Compiler/DCT/DC Ultra or similar
Experienceof Formal Verification tools – Conformal/Formality
Excellentwritten and spoken English Language
Desirable Skills
Someappreciation of C programming/scripting/Shells/low level
Somedomain experience in graphics, video encode/decode, communications would be anadvantage
Experienceof working with externally supplied Intellectual Property

Knowledgeof VHDL

Integrationof IP cores into an SoC environment, knowledge of bus interface protocols e.g.AXI, OCP

Previousexperience of giving internal customer training/presentations or liaison withexternal vendors
Personal Attributes

Ability to prioritiseand organise tasks in a calm manner and with a focussed approach

Tenacious problemsolving ability

Working Environment

The CustomerEngineering team consists of a highly motivated and highly knowledgeable teamof both software and hardware engineers located in the UK, US and Asia/Pacific.A successful candidate will be based in a small office environment plus visitsto customer sites and travel to the UK and other company R+D sites.
Qualifications§
Minimum of a secondclass honours degree in an electronics related course.
