Application Engineer（预算未设上限）

The Applications Engineer (AE) interfaces with Sales, Marketing, Product, Test and Design Engineering with a focus on customer application related tasks for new and existing products.
Support customer applications and product development to support the sales of Micrel industrial power products.
——Design, build and test custom demonstration and reference design circuits to meet customer specifications to support the sales of the portable power product line.
——Create demonstration boards with GUIs/software which will be used by customers to evaluate Portable Power products.
——Provide input and help prototype new product definition.
——Perform Lab test and measurement of analog/power management circuits.
——Design and assist building application test fixtures, device evaluation and demo boards including demo board instruction manual/datasheet. This includes management of personnel involved in printed circuit boards, acquisition of components, board assembly and circuit troubleshooting.
——“Road Test” products based on “New Product Applications Evaluation Check List”.


——Direct contact with customers and Micrel field application engineering staff for creatingdesign solutions and troubleshooting system design problems

——Write product datasheets with applications section, applications notes, design articles and demo board manuals with all text, graphs and diagrams.
——Participate in team meetings; assist product planning team with characterization plan.
We are looking for highly experienced candidates with experience in Power Management
Applications & Product Definition. Some of the key requirements include:
——BSEE or equivalent working experience.
——5 - 7 years experience with power management applications in the area of board level DC-DC applications.
——Significant experience directing or performing layout of high frequency DC-DC switching converters using Cadence or equivalent software.
——Strong knowledge of circuit design, power system design and PC based software.
——Strong Analog circuit design skills and medium Digital hardware design skills.
——Strong lab test and measurement skills required to characterize new products and
——design application circuit solutions.
——Reasonable proficiency writing simple non-production code in a high level language such as C++, C#, Visual Basic
Experience with serial communication protocols such as I2C.
——Strong communications skills and open to travel as necessary.
——Good writing, technical drawing and verbal communications skills are mandatory forwriting product datasheets, documenting lab reports and creating product application notes.
——Proficient with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, electronic loads,spectrum/network analyzers and other common lab instruments.
——Working knowledge of printed circuit board layout and fabrication as well as electronic assembly practices.
——Able to use soldering equipment and have knowledge of hand assembly with SMTdevices.
——Proficient in writing technical documents and datasheets and creating technical drawings using MS Word and Visio.


Test / Product Engineer for Power IC（240以内）
Job Description
Key role involved in all the phases of new product development, from initial design to hands-on
debug, test development, characterization and full production release.
Work closely with other Test and Product Engineers locally and other sites at US, Europe and
Asia, and design houses / foundries / subcontractors in the development and release of new
Functional Power IC products and towards their smooth transition to volume manufacturing.
Central resource for coordination of engineering builds and qualifications at the various
factories and subcontractors, resolve technical issues related to new product development
with focus on test program and hardware development, product characterization,
prepare/approve datasheets, execute product releases, and product sustaining.
Job Requirements
BSEE or Master equivalent.
Over 5 years test and product engineering experience on Functional Power, Power
Management or Analog IC (including multi-chip) such as Automotive Power, Buck/Boost,
MOSFET Driver or related products.
Strong in analog circuit design fundamentals and IC test development skills, with strong
understanding of final device performance.
Good working knowledge on lab equipment setup and experience on Credence/TMTASL1000,
Eagle or other Analog IC tester is preferred
Understanding of assembly processes and semiconductor device physics would be a plus.
Good communication skills and team player with good interpersonal skills and able to work
efficiently with multi-functional groups across different locations.


Senior Design Engineer（资深级的230K以内，主任级的320K以内）
Summary:
The candidate will perform architectural and transistor-level design and implementation of
CMOS power ICs. The candidate will contribute at many levels of the development cycle
including architectural design, circuit design, simulation, modeling, verification and bench
characterization
Responsibilities:
1. Proactively communicate & negotiate with product definers on device objective specification
2. Analog feasibility and circuit design
3. Schematic entry, simulation, modeling, verification, lab evaluation of the design and
documentation
4. Design for test, manufacture and low cost production
Qualifications:
1. Must have at least 4 years analog design experience
2. MSEE degree highly preferred
3. Must have good knowledge and designed/specified some or all of the following blocks: LDO,
DCDC, Power Switch, Power Fuse, LED Driver, Power FET Driver
4. Must be able to direct layout for optimal analog performance
5. Must have understanding of device physics
6. Knowledgeable about CAD simulation and mask design tools such as Cadence Spectre,
Assura LVS and DRC tools
7. Must work well in a team environment and be self-motivated and pro-active
8. Good oral and written communication skills in English
