<B>　　Job Responsibilities：</B>
　　As a member of the UMTS Firmware team you will be working on the low layer embedded firmware development for mobile handset. This includes but is not limited to the implementation and verification of embedded C module code and support of the modem bring-up cycle until production release. This includes close to HW algorithm implementation on a dedicated DSP but also scheduler development on state of the art μC architectures.

　　Responsibilities include:

　　- Participating in concept definition of high level architecture requirements to implemenation concepts.
　　- Embedded firmware development of 3GPP features in C language in a RTOS environment
　　- Optimize code with respect to system limitations, hardware requirements and power consumption
　　- Improve verification environment in pre- and post- silicon.
　　- Follow strict SW methodology for component platform integration (versioning and bug tracking).
　　- Support real life embedded trace analysis and field debugging

　　<B>Functional/Industry Knowledge Required:</B>
　　- 3GPP standard knowledge
　　- Experience with integration UMTS modem algorithms on embedded systems
　　- Real-time SW development and debug over multi-core platforms with tight cycles and memory footprint constraints
　　- C float, C fixed programming experience- Experience with standard DSP / μC architecture programming
　　- Excellent communicator (both in writing and verbally)
　　- Good English (written and spoken)
　　- Team player
　　-Must be able to work with people in many different cultures

　　Education:
　　- Preferred Degree: Engineer, Ph.D
　　- Preferred Major: Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Telecommunication
