Baseband Engineer
Responsible for specifying, planning, reporting, designing and testing in his/her area. Solves complex engineering problems of own technology area. Coaches other team members in solving engineering problems. Typically participates in reviews of own or neighbouring projects. Has specialist knowledge on a technical competence area and a cross functional competence area. Typically participates in reviews of own or neighboring projects and co-operates with product programs and suppliers. May undertake technical training responsibilities. All Hardware deliverables planned and implemented according to project plans and completed in line with overall project schedules.

1. Provide various Baseband part solution options during concepting study.
2.Integrate components into sub-systems or systems and verifies the integrated entity, to meet Type approve /Nokia mobile phone design requirements
3. Specify test plan, test cases and analyze results to ensure the functionality and reliability of the product.
4. Owner of one technical expertise area inside the team, within this area, he/she will coach other team members in solving engineering problems, drive the technical Lessons learnt share and maintain the design guideline.

External Qualifications
1. Bachelor in Electronic Engineering, telecommunication or other relevant field in Baseband areas (Master Degree is preferred)
2 .Typically 5+ years relevant experience with focus on GSM/TD-SCDMA cellular BB design (Senior: 5+ years; Expert: 8+ years)
3. Hands on experience on various BB measurement equipments
4. Capable knowledge with System ASICs, Memories, SIM, ASIP, connectivity (WLAN, FM, GPS, BT, USB, uSD….) and sensor
5. Proactive and honest in nature and be able to co-work with colleague.
6. Good coaching skill to help other team members in solving engineering problems.
7. Fluent speaking in presentation skills and written communication skills in English
8. Innovative thinking to seeds the opportunities and drive the innovation from BB side for NOKIA products.
9. Experience with CMCC Technical Requirement, CMMB, and RFID SIM knowledge is a plus
10.Strong fundamentals of high speed circuit design and the signal integrity theory is a plus
11.Capable knowledge with simulation ( signal integrity, sensor….) is a plus
