【简　介】:The H4DS protocol provides “H4 with Deep Sleep”. The  protocol is defined in [H4DS] and is described in
[H4DS_NOTES]. CSR’s implementation of H4DS in _‰Ï…`ÁÍ… ™ firmware is described in [H4DSBC].
CSR provides a C source code impl ementation of H4DS, described in [H4DSLIB]. This code is primarily for
porting to embedded systems. Users of this code must have a good understanding of the code’s structure as they
must provide wrapper code to bind it to their target systems. It is expected that some users will modify the
[H4DSLIB] code for their needs.
This document describes a trivial Windows
®
application that uses the [H4DSLIB] source code unmodified. The
application starts a Windows command line application that:
!  Connects via a UART to a BlueCore device configured to use H4DS (e.g., build HCIStack2.0EDRv19.2
for BlueCore4-ROM)
!  Reads the device’s Bluetooth address
!  Uses HCI’s local loopback mode to pass a block of data into and out of BlueCore
This demo application has been provided mainly as an example of how the H4DS library code can be bound to a
target environment, so little effort has been expended to  make the application into a useful tool. General
evaluation of H4DS is better done using CSR’s BTCLI program. The version of BTCLI bundled with BlueSuite
v1.21 includes support for H4DS.
