Job description:
The role of (Sr.) Industrial Design Engineer is to be member of M&D ID team. He/She will be responsible for transferring customer requirements and expectations into product design, detailed industrial design and implementation of industrial design projects that are complied in cost, quality, and schedule with the main project targets. He/She focus on all actions to fulfill the target of the projects with high Customer Satisfaction.
Operational responsibilities
l        Participate in preparation of the industrial design concepts to fulfill the assigned project requirements.
l        Work out the content and the schedule for respective working packages with project manager.
l        To be dialog partner for the mechanical teams in design issues.
l        Introduce innovational ideas about product fashion trend in market.
l        Introduce new technologies, methods and tools to keep and increase the team competence.
Development responsibilities
l        Work with customers and project managers to define and visualize the products requirements in ID.
l        Technical conversion of the defined products from concept to mass production with consideration of the project requirements concerning time and quality.
l        Technical consultation withl mechanical engineers ,suppliers & production during development process.
l        Supply 2D rendering, 3D surface data, art work and technical specifications.
l        Control ID changes (internal and on supplier side) until design frozen together with the MD, PM and customers.
Requirement / qualification:
l        Several years of professional experience in terms of industrial design.
l        Relative mechanical knowledge (plating, painting, material……etc.).
l        Technical knowledge (Product and application know how concerning mobile phones).
l        Commercial knowledge (Know how concerning industrial design related product and process cost aspects).
l        IT-Tool andl methods.
l        CAD-Tools ( Know how concerning using of CAD systems as “photoshop”,"alias", "ProE",...).
l        Fluency in both written and spoken English.
l        Good presentation skill and communication skill.
l        Ability to Analyze; Team Skills; Initiative; Organization and Quality Orientation
